I’ve been using the 3D modelling on AutoCAD for a while, but have just began using the render feature. How do I turn off reflections? there are some really annoying reflections that would never exist in reality (eg a dull metal reflecting perfectly like a mirror). I’ve tried material editor and i always see reflection flash up and disappear from the list once I select a material.

i tried to change the scale 1/20, (to put the command zoom then scale then 1/20xp.) but drawing shown bigger. how i make scale 1/20 in model? or layout?

I want a 3d model of A-380 in AUTO-CAD??

I am trying to teach myself how to model 3D objects in AutoDesk Inventor 2010. I am working through the provided tutorials, and I understand how you go about constraining a 2D sketch. I don’t quite understand, however, WHY constraints are necessary? I notice that when I constrain a sketch, there is a notice at the bottom that says for example, “3 Dimensions needed.” However, I am still able to perform model functions on the object without fully constraining it. Why is constraining necessary then, if you don’t have to fully constrain a sketch before performing modeling functions? Thanks for your help!

I used to make 3D objects quite frequently. I want to get ahead in my job and learn how to create drawings in 3D again.
What I’m drawing is simple, just duct work but I would like them to be in 3D at their proper elevations. Are there any tips or links that anyone could help me with.

Hi, I’m not a 3d expert. I only have used AutoCAD 3D and Ive been testing Cinema 4D. I use them to make architectural views, and low quality animations. But I want to make better presentations, model towels and other things like that. I saw Maya and 3ds but i don’t like something too many complex, like Maya and I prefer it for Mac. I’ll appreciate all the possible help. Sorry for my grammar.

i am morgan (autocad 2d/3d expert) from india and can make 2d and three dimesional models of building (architectural) related 3dimensionals.please suggest me if there is any interenet based job? thanks

I’m and engineer and i would like to run modeling programs as autocad 3D, pictures editing, maybe even pro engineering. i would like a really fast computer with excellent details and with expansion capabilities for couple of years to come.
i don’t want to go over board with stuff that will never used that is why i’m asking your opinion, by the way i don’t do any gaming.
